Which cars pass their MOT
Across 97,834,354 tests, 71.8% of cars pass first time. A three-year-old car passes 87.9% of the time, a ten-year-old 70.1%. An advisory on lights becomes a failure at the next test 36.1% of the time. Every make and model is rated from the same records, age-adjusted so an old design is not punished for being old.

What this check shows that others don't
The pass rate for your exact model, year and fuel, from millions of recorded tests, next to the car's own record.
Each advisory on the last certificate carries the measured rate at which that kind of advisory became a failure a year later.
Every reading plotted. Any reading lower than the one before is flagged, which is how clocked cars show themselves.
